Delete Your Account
LightBase - Professional Lighting Database
We're sorry to see you go. You can request to delete your LightBase account and all associated data at any time.
⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your saved fixtures, company memberships, and preferences will be permanently deleted.
What Gets Deleted
Data That Will Be Deleted:
- Your account information (email, name)
- All saved fixtures
- Company memberships
- Offline cached data
- User preferences and settings
- Any reports or feedback you've submitted
Data That May Be Retained:
- Purchase records (required by law for tax/accounting - 7 years)
- Anonymized analytics (no personal identifiers)
- Backup copies (automatically deleted within 30 days)
How to Request Account Deletion
To delete your account, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to
support@ejp-designs.com
- Use the subject line: "Delete My LightBase Account"
- Include in your email:
- The email address associated with your account
- Your user ID (found in Settings → Account in the app)
- Confirmation that you understand this is permanent
- We will process your request within 30 days
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete
Email Deletion Request
Alternative: Delete In-App
You can also delete your account directly from the LightBase app:
- Open the LightBase app
- Go to Settings tab
- Tap your account name at the top
- Scroll to bottom and tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion
- Your account will be deleted immediately
Data Retention Period
After you request deletion:
- Immediate: Account deactivated, can't sign in
- Within 24 hours: All personal data removed from active database
- Within 30 days: All backup copies deleted
- 7 years: Purchase records (legal requirement)
